Production Design PRO

I've spent nearly 30 years in the business of advertising, marketing and design. I have a background in prepress and have logged many hours with photographers, art directors, and creative teams working to achieve perfection. I work side by side with the most discerning clients and creative directors and sometimes with those that say, "just make it look good." And rest assured, it'll look good. I have a solid understanding of what it takes to bring layouts, images or graphics across the finish line. I know production and design and I know this business from many different angles.

Beyond Retouching

It's really more than knowing Photoshop. If you have a simple stock photo that just looks a little lifeless, I know how to fix that. If you have a recent set of photos from a shoot that need color matching, I get it. If you have a couple photos to merge together, I've got you covered. I will ask you all the right questions to make sure that what I'm working on can someday be used on that trade show wall. And on their website. And in the company powerpoint. I'll get you the CMYK and the RGB versions in the sizes that you need, with a smart naming convention to boot. And if you want, I'll give you a nice tidy layered photoshop file, too. In the end you'll be so glad that you had a real pro handle your images.

In my downtime

I am passionate about animal rescue. I am committed to volunteerism by fostering dogs and donating graphic design services (see the work) for a Minnesota non-profit: Retrieve A Golden of the Midwest. We have fostered many dogs throughout the years, and have only foster failed once: meet Ben. He was rescued from an over crowded animal shelter in Shanghai, China during the height of the pandemic.

My husband, Scott, and I enjoy boating, fishing and Minnesota Wild hockey.
